May 28, 2011 (Whistler, BC) – Whistler Sport Legacies is a non-profit organization responsible for three of Whistler’s 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Venues: the Whistler Sliding Centre, Whistler Olympic Park, and the Whistler Athletes’ Centre.

In the case that you have groups interested in West coast training seminars, athletic events, or educational retreats with sport components I want to provide you with the Whistler Athletes’ Centre Information sheet with our 2011 summer and 2011/2012 winter rates.

The Whistler Athletes’ Centre is not eligible for funding from the Legacy Endowment Fund, so it must be self-sustaining.  But our goal for the venue is to generate profit thereby ensuring these legacy facilities are available for athlete development and training well into the future.
